Rain, Rain {Please} Go Away!

Nashville Flooding

We are drowning here in Nashville... have you heard about all the flooding? I feel extremely blessed that the hubs and I are safe at home and our house and yard are staying afloat. It's so serious here that I can't imagine how long it is going to take to fix everything - the roads, buildings, houses, cars, etc. Many of our friends' basements and homes are flooded, trees have fallen over, cars have been smashed, buildings have floated away... it is so crazy. I'm watching boats motor through the parking lots of nearby strip malls. Nine people have died. I've seen family friends on TV being evacuated from their neighborhoods. My prayers are with everyone without homes, power, food, water and transportation. If you are in the area and need a place to stay, please contact me! Be safe, stay home, turn on a movie and make yourselves a big pot of yummy soup!

Oh my gosh that's awful! Keeping Nashville in my thoughts and hoping the flooding is done with sooner than later.

Here in Kentucky, the water is still coming down and everything is submerged under water. I hope that there is end in sight, soon!

we had flooding like this maybe 6 years ago. Terrible really. Some of the less financially blessed regions are still trying to recover.

Best to you!
