Fall Crush

I couldn't be more excited that September is officially here. This month just screams autumn to me [even though we technically have 20ish days of summer left]! Of course my mind has immediately gone to boots, tights, sweaters, scarves and layers galore. Here are some looks I'm smitten with right now!

Emmadime Bow Scarf
Knee Socks
Lucky Brand Iris Boot
HoyFashion Liverpool Leather Bag

I feel the same way. And I was lucky enough to wake up to it being 75 degrees outside. It blew my mind seeing as when I woke up yesterday it was 92. Fall might just be coming after all.

Wanna mourn with me? I got in trouble at work for not dressing professionally enough. Guess that means no more creative dressing, slacks and button-ups from here on out. How lame is that?

I'm in love with that first look, I could totally sport a little something like that. I hope you have a great weekend:)

this post is kind of droolworthy! ;) when i was younger summer was my favourite season, and now i crave fall weather/cooler months! plus, my wardrobe tends to gravitate towards fall/winter pieces like boots, tights, cardigans, scarves, etc. love it!

I'm with you! I can't stop thinking about layers/boots/tights/everything fall! Of course it's still in the 90s where I live so my thoughts have had to stay in my head. Sigh! I'm so ready for the temperatures to drop!

Oh my goodness yes! I am totally agreeing with you about the layers and sweaters, etc. Now that September has come (and today was actually in the 60's *GASP!*) I am so in the Autumn mood--I love Autumn!

Right now I am really wanting a thickly knit mustard scarf and some big thrift sweaters. :)

XOXO-
Rachel

P.S.-Darling, thank you for sharing Marion Cotillard's Oscar dress--it was beautiful! :)

I ordered some rose print tights from Forever 21 that are pretty similar to those and were really affordable! They should be arriving in a package today, along with a navy shirt dress and a pair of cream-colored faux suede Oxfords...I'm really excited about all of it!! I always miss summer initially, but the great thing about fall is the LAYERING...you can take your favorite spring and summer dresses and pair them with boots, tights, and sweaters and get a whole new look that's warm enough without giving up your floral dresses. Hooray!
