[Absence]

This has been a week full of exciting adventures, new friends, familiar faces and lots and lots of learning. Salt Lake City has been a wonderful meeting place for the Alt Design Summit. I've received lots of amazing advice, tips and information and am feeling quite inspired and honestly, a bit overwhelmed [in only the best way]. Now... where to begin?

Morrison

I am completely smitten with this winter collection from Morrison, a husband and wife team from the small town of Fremantle, Western Australia. The color palette is right up my alley and I adore the mix of feminine and tough... It also doesn't hurt that these timeless pieces look incredibly comfortable and easy. I think it's love.

Snow Day!

Today is a beautiful, snowy day in Nashville. I've kept myself bundled up on the couch with cookie dough ice cream and reruns of The Office instead of making my way out into the pretty snow... It's still coming down and we're supposed to get even more tomorrow! Hopefully I'll get out to play soon, but for now I'm soaking in these wintery wonderlands from the warmth of my computer.

[Wanted This Week] Katie Moore

I'm so happy to return today with Wanted This Week and to kick off the new year with my favorite lady, Miss Katie Moore. Yes, she is the designer behind those pretty downloadable gift tags a couple weeks ago. Her design work for This Not This is simply amazing and she always knows how to make me laugh out loud with her celebrity and hilarious gossip/music/life blog, Lemon Pepper. Of course I wasn't surprised to see such a wild and eclectic wishlist and it just wouldn't be Katie if she didn't throw in something funny and unexpected... in this case, her friend David Archuleta's t-shirt. Oh Katie, please don't ever change. You make my life so much happier!
